Andes Mountains & Winery Tour – Best of Santiago in one day
In this carefully selected tour we take you with us high into the mountains just outside Santiago to show you the beauty of the majestic Andes Mountain Range, and finish with a sublime wine tasting at a winery. This is the perfect tour if you like to admire breathtaking landscapes but do not prefer hiking or trekking. Sit back in our comfortable vehicle and let yourself be driven into the beautiful mountains.
In the morning we visit the Farellones and Valle Nevado ski resorts to enjoy the scenery. During the summer, you can enjoy gorgeous views of the mountains and the city. Sometimes we get lucky enough to see Condors up close as they enjoy the quiet terraces of Valle Nevado during the off season!! During the winter, you’ll see the beautiful snowscape, and can fight the cold with a cheeky coffee at the ski resort. Afterwards, we’ll visit one of the last remaining urban wineries in Santiago. The Santiago basin is the some of the most fertile land in the country, and produces exceptional wines. Before starting our winery tour, we have lunch at an amazing restaurant downtown in Providencia. They have a very varied menu, with amongst others confit de canard, warm goat cheese salad, pasta, filets and a large collection of wines!
You will be picked up at 09:00 AM and returned by 18.00 to your hotel. Driving time is 2 hours up to Farellones and 1,5 hour down to Santiago. Then an additional 1 hour from Santiago to the winery & restaurant.
