Tour of Laguna del Inca at Portillo and Aconcagua Winery Tour
In this carefully crafted tour you will visit the Laguna del Inca at the Portillo Ski Resort close to the Argentinean border. We combine this tour with a Winery Tour & Tasting at the Von Siebenthal Winery in the Aconcagua Valley.
In the morning, you start your day with a visit to the picturesque Laguna del Inca at Portillo, a ski resort which is worth visiting no matter the season! Be mesmerised by the glacier-blue colour of the lagoon and the steep mountains around it. The drive up there offers breath-taking views of the typical rugged Chilean landscape. You can’t miss out on this tour.
We follow this experience with lunch in the centre of Los Andes, a small city which still holds several features characteristic of Spanish colonial city planning. Here, while you have a lovely light lunch, you will get to experience daily life in a normal Chilean provincial city, far from regular tourist itineraries.
We end the day at Von Siebenthal winery, to explore the Aconcagua terroir. The Aconcagua Wine Valley offers the perfect environment for full bodied red wines. This is due to its warm and sandy hills in combination with the cool clay/limestone soil. The Von Siebenthal Winery specifically produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Carmènere. This elegant winery offers a real treat for the wine lovers….
